How to approve/reject submitted information

Updated over a week ago

If you want to stay on top of your work and also reassure your clients, the approval feature is for you.

It helps you stay up to date regarding your client management process:

  • You know what's been done and what needs to be reviewed as part of the application process

  • Your client will be happy to follow up on the application throughout the weeks

  • When you export your application, your export folder will be clean and accurate

💡 Note : Clustdoc’s interface has been updated. The design shown in this video may differ from what you see today. 👉 See this article

Approving completed steps

If you want to approve an item submitted by your client, simply click on the Approve button of each step. To do it :

• Go to a live application

• Scroll to a step with the Pending Review status and click on it.

• Hit the 'Approve' button

Example: If a client submits a copy of their ID and the document is clear and compliant, you can click on Approve to validate the step and allow the client to move forward.

Rejecting and commenting on wrong files

If the items collected or completed as part of the application do not meet your expectations, you can use the “comment” button to clearly explain to your client what the issue is, while also having the option to delete the files that were previously submitted if necessary.

Reinitialize a step

If you want to start over on a step, you can click the Reinitialize button to remove all files submitted by the client and allow them to resubmit the requested information.

The step will then change from the Completed status to the Missing status.

💡 Please note that this does not apply to a signed document. Since the electronic signature is final, you will need to prepare another contract and display it for signature.

Cancelling approvals

If you've already approved a step and want to cancel the approval, you just need to click on the 'approved' button and select "Cancel approval" to move the step back to 'Pending' and allow recipients to take further action on this step.
