How to send email notifications

Important Note: Automated notifications require a premium feature called "Automation". Activate it with a Booster.

Available triggers to schedule notifications

Use the list of available triggers to schedule your notifications. Triggers are available in your Process> Automation tab.

TRIGGER

EXPLANATION / EXAMPLE

When a contact is invited to start an application

Eg: When a user is invited to start a process

When someone registers on a portal

Eg: When someone online registers on one of your portals

When an application status is updated

Eg: When an application is closed

When an application progress stage is updated

Eg: When an application custom stage moves from “stage 1” to “stage 2”

When a step status is updated in the checklist

Eg: Valid ID moves from missing to pending review

When a new step is added to the checklist

Eg: New file request added to a live application

When a message is sent to an end-user

When an attachment is added to a live application

Discovering the different types of Notifications

Notifications can be sent either via email or SMS (Requires a Twilio account and integration). There are different types of notifications, discover below the options available.

Customizing the content of your notifications

Once you've defined the type of notifications you want to send, all you have to do is write the subject and body of your email.
