Clustdoc makes it simple for users to generate API tokens that can be used to consume Clustdoc's API. You may even grant abilities to tokens to limit the scope of actions a given token can perform. In your Clustdoc Sandbox (or production when going LIVE), go to your team settings page.

Once you reach your configuration page, click on the developer menu on the left and then click on the API menu.

You can now enter a token name and select the abilities you want to assign to your token. When you're ready to go, just click on the validate button to get your API token.

If your token becomes compromised, you can regenerate it. However, be aware that any applications that were using the old token will lose access once it has been regenerated.
