Creating an e-contract
• From the Resources tab (Reusable econtracts)
1-Go to 'Resources>E-contracts' to create a new e-contract
2-Click on 'New e-contract' and name your future document
3- Click 'Upload file' to import from your computer your existing contract in PDF format. Wait a few seconds while we process the document.
4-Right-click on your document to add the fields you need recipients to fill out.
Resize each field using the top right corner of the field. Use the little pencil to mark a field as mandatory, add a placeholder or delete the field.
5-Drag and drop the fields where you need( Note that eSignatures are always mandatory)
Econtracts created from the Resources section are saved in your account and can be reused across several processes
• While building a Process (Quick econtracts)
1-Click on 'Add new steps'
2- Select the option 'Document to be signed'
3- Name your blank e-contract
4- Hit the 'Confirm' button'
You'll be redirected to the contract builder where you can upload your PDF and add your fields with a Right-click.
5-Resize each field using the top right corner of the field. Use the little pencil to mark a field as mandatory or add a placeholder.

Econtracts created while defining a process are not saved in your account, you'll need to save them in your account so you can reuse them across multiple processes
Available fields for an e-contract
-An external signature placeholder: a place for the recipient to insert their eSignature, you can name this placeholder if you need multiple people to sign this document (Recipient will have to share their password with additional people)
-An internal signature placeholder: a place where your own or manager's signature will be captured by default. You could have your company manager sign there for example.
-A text field: a text area where recipients can add their name for example
-A date field: a text area where recipients can add a specific date for example.
-A checkbox: a tick box if you want to capture consent

Deleting an e-contract field
Click on the little pencil ✎ to access the pop up where a bin icon will allow you to delete a field.
Adding a saved e-contract to a process
When you're done preparing your e-contract, go back to Resources>Processes to import your e-contract into one of your Processes.
1-Go to your Process and click the 'Add new steps' button.
2-Hit the 'Document to be signed' box and name your e-contract
3-Pick the e-contract you want to import from the dropdown and confirm
