The stakeholder feature allows you to invite multiple people to join a single record.
Since the process is a way to automate most of your requirements, you can either use the process or the live applications to get stakeholders to join your projects.
See below how to use one of the other option:
|Capture this in a process||Manage this from an appl.|
|My workflow always has X stakeholders||x|
|I need to invite another person to join the client record||
My workflow always has X stakeholders
If this scenario applies to you, we'd recommend capturing this at the process level.
1/ Create the list of stakeholders' roles in your process
2/Assign to each role the type of line items to be displayed to them
3/ When the application is created, head over to the 'Stakeholders' tab to invite a secondary person under a specific stakeholder role
The primary stakeholder will always see everyone's submitted information.
I need to invite another person to join the client record
If this scenario applies to you, we'd recommend managing this on a case by case basis meaning while processing a live application.
1/ Work on your application as usual
2/Create quickly a new role from the 'Stakeholders' tab and write the invitation message
3/ Move to the 'Assignment tab' and select what you want to show to this person
Who are secondary stakeholders?
Secondary stakeholders are people who need to join the application on top of the primary stakeholder.
Eg. Mr & Mrs, Client and client's assistant, CEO and Finance Manager, Client and your manager (for one-off approval on your work)
Who sees what?
• The primary stakeholder see all line items + personal messages
• A Stakeholder sees their assigned line items + personal messages
• If you activate the split view on 'file upload' line items, each person only sees their own files of a same file upload line item.
