In this article, we learned how processes work in Clustdoc. Here is a quick reminder of what a process is in Clustdoc.
How does it work?
Think of a Clustdoc process like a checklist of things written down for future clients or partners in order to help them get started.
You probably already have something like that today: an Excel spreadsheet, a Google doc, a PDF or even email.
Using Clustdoc, you'll be able to save this process in a digital format in your Clustdoc for your team to use it at any given time and run your common process checklists with every new stakeholder remotely and easily.
How do you duplicate a process?
- Go to your list of processes
- Locate the process you want to duplicate
- Click on the 'Dropdown arrow ▼' next to "View"
- Hit 'Duplicate'
A few tips from Clustdoc
What happens when you duplicate a process?
The overall content of your process is duplicated: Name, description, list of steps, automations etc.
However, forms, spreadsheets, and e-contracts listed in your process, if saved in your toolbox, will not be duplicated.
Toolbox items have a unique root in order to be used across the platform seamlessly.
So if you saved an e-contract, form, or spreadsheet to your toolbox, you can only manage (edit, duplicate) this specific item from the toolbox itself.
We recommend that you also duplicate your toolbox resources and import the duplicate version back into your duplicated process.
