Requesting a Credit card payment - one-off payment
Make sure you've connected your account with Stripe
Go to your Process in Resources>Processes and add a payment request
Click on the Add New Steps Blue button and select the Payment module
Name your module (Eg. Pay for our service $98)
Select the One-time payment option
Confirm & drag and drop your module where you want
Click at the top on 'View as end-user' to test it out
Requesting a Credit card payment - Recurring payment
Make sure you've connected your account with Stripe
Go to your Process in Resources>Processes and add a payment request
Click on the Add New Steps Blue button and select the Payment module
Name your module (Eg. Subscribe to our Service - $XX/month)
Select the Subscription payment option
Confirm & drag and drop your module where you want
Click at the top on 'View as end-user' to test it out
Available options when adding a payment request into your process
Type | Description |
Name | The name of the payment request will allow people to understand what needs to be done (Eg. Service fees - $134) |
Type | Type of payment. One time charge (payment) or Subscription (subscription) |
Amount | This is the actual amount of money you need to capture |
Currency | Which currency do you accept |
Plan | If type is Subscription, indicates the Stripe Plan to be used. Note that Plans are automatically retrieved from your Stripe account. You can create/manage your plans here : https://dashboard.stripe.com/products |
Instructions | This is a text that will show when users will be about to pay |
Tooltip | This is a text that will show when end-users mouse over the related step (being to pay) while on the checklist |
Button text | Edit the text in the button. |
Approval | This is about which status you want to show once the step is completed (Pending review or approved) knowing that a completed payment will naturally move the step to 'On going' |
Required | Whether this step is mandatory or optional |
Visible to end-user | Is this a payment that end-users need to complete? Otherwise you can hide it. |
Dropdown options | Select where in your checklist you want to add this payment request |
