Setting up the <I've finished> button

This article will help you understand how to manage the display and the behavior of the <I've finished> button on the end-user's interface. These parameters are available in the Configuration > General tab of your process.

What is the <I've finished> button?

The <I've finished> button is the main call to action on the end-user page. By default, it is displayed both at the top and at the bottom of the checklist.

Once clicked, it changes the whole application status to Submitted.

However, for greater flexibility, it is possible to pick a custom position for this button and therefore control its behavior as you wish (leveraging automation for example).

Display options for this button (How it shows)

The <I've finished> button has 4 display options, in other terms it can:

• Show at top only
• Show at the bottom only
• Show at the top and bottom (default)
• Be hidden (useful if you wish to manage certain behaviors yourself via tasks or automations, for example)

Display criterias for this button (When it shows)

You can decide when you would like to display the button by adding a display condition.

• When at least one step is completed
• When all steps are completed
• When all mandatory steps are completed
• When the last step is completed

Button execution (What happens once clicked)

Once someone clicks on this button, 2 things can happen:

• Auto progress: The application will progress to Submitted status, and scheduled automation (if any) will run right away. This is the default behavior.
• Manual: The status remains unchanged (aka it remains at In progress). And then it's up to you to decide what should happen using our automations module.

Eg. You could decide to change the custom stage once this button is clicked (instead of progression the status to something)
