You can use already available information populate automatically your e-contracts fields.
This information could be of various types:
- Contact details
- Forms data
- Date format
- Line items of your checklist
- Owner details
- Application details
When creating your e-contracts, pick the merge fields option to do so.
Available merge tags per category
Contact -> Full name, first name, last name, email, company, custom field
Application ->ID, custom stage, name, date of creation, creation date & hour (timestamp)
Line items->All items, missing, mandatory, missing+mandatory ones
Application Owner (Team member)->First name, last name, email, full name
Date-> Today's date, date + time, current year, Y-1, Y+1
Form field -> any field from your forms
Adding merge tags to your e-contracts
1/ Go to your e-contract
2/ Right-click to add a field
3/ Pick Merge tags
A pop up will show allowing you to define what you need.
In the example below, we'll add as merge fields some fields from a form (which could be external or only visible by our team)
