How to add a task to be completed to a live application

💡 A task to be completed can be added as an onboarding step to your checklists. Whether in a process (standard requirement captured before launching your flow) or in a live application (once the flow has started with a specific end-user).

Option 1. Simple task

Here is how to add a simple task to your process:

  1. Select the applications you're working on

  2. Click on the Add New steps blue button and select the task to be completed module

  3. Name your task, add instructions if any and confirm

Option 2. Embedded task (Video or Appointment booking)

Here is how to add an embedded task to your process:

  • Select the application you're working on

  • Click on the Add New steps blue button and select the task to be completed module

  • Name your task (Eg. Please watch this video)

  • ⚠️ Select in the dropdown the Embedded task

  • Add your video or appointment booking module HTML code

  • Add instructions if any and confirm

Option 3. Online task (Redirect to another website)

Here is how to add an online task to your process:

  • Select the application you're working on

  • Click on the Add New steps blue button and select the task to be completed module

  • Name your task (Eg. Please register your company)

  • ⚠️ Select in the dropdown the Online task

  • Add the URL of the destination website

  • Add instructions if any and confirm

Available options when adding a task into your process

Name: The name of the task will allow people to understand what needs to be done (Eg. Please watch this video)

Type: Which type of task will this be? a simple, embedded or online task?

Button text: This is the text showing on the button of the task

Instructions: This is a text that will show on top of the task

Tooltip: This is a text that will show when end-users mouse over the related step (being to complete a task) while on the checklist

Approval: This is about which status you want to show once the step is completed (Pending review or approved) knowing that an approved task cannot be redone

Required: Whether this step is mandatory or optional

Visible to end-user: Is this a task that end-users need to complete? Otherwise you can hide it, so only your team will see it and complete it

Dropdown options: Select where in your checklist you want to add this task
