How to integrate Clustdoc with other business tools
To help you synchronize your Clustdoc applications with external apps, we provide you with a wide range of options.
ⓘ It is always recommended to leverage the expertise of your technical team or IT person when integrating business tools or apps.
Option 1: You need a No-code solution
↬ Explore what can be done with ZAPIER
Zapier is one of the biggest “App connectors” apps available on the market. It allows you to connect your business apps together without coding. However, it's still recommended to have someone technical implement Zapier in your organization.
In this article, we discuss how Zapier works in greater detail.
1. Description
Zapier has developed a robust technology that is primarily used by Growth, Ops, and Tech teams to connect apps that they already use together.
Concrete example: Send a notification to a Slack channel when one of my Facebook Ads gets a new lead. (The 2 apps to connect being: Slack on one side and Facebook on the other)
2. Prerequisite
• To use Zapier, you need to make sure both apps are available on Zapier as well. And of course, Clustdoc has a Zapier app :)
• Verify that both your apps have built the various triggers and actions you have in mind in order to perform the expected scenario.
If one of the triggers or actions is not available in Zapier, you may want to reach out to the app editor (software editor) to discuss potential updates.
Concrete example: You build your Zap and realize that the 'action' called 'Send a notification' is not possible or listed with your Slack app in Zapier. You can reach out to Slack to discuss that.
• Last, make sure that you have the API capability activated within the apps involved in your Zap. This is sometimes a paid option in softwares.
3.Getting started with Zapier
Go to Zapier to create and activate your account. Once registered, you'll be able to create what they call 'a Zap'. It's basically a recipe describing your future scenario as mentioned in the above example.
Search for the source app you want in the search bar (the app where the trigger will occur)
Add the destination app (the app where the action(s) must be done)
Set up your Zap details (the information that must be sent to these leads)
Test your Zap
You're done!
↬ Use Integromat as an alternative to Zapier (Integromat is now called 'Make')
1. Description
Integromat is a great alternative to Zapier. This option allows you like Zapier to create 'Scenarios' in order to connect your favorite apps together.
2.Prerequisite
The list of things to keep in mind when setting up a connector has been covered above in the Zapier section. Please read it carefully.
3.Getting started with Integromat
RDV in Integromat to create and activate your account. Once Registered, Go to this page to build your scenarios.
↬ Using Pabbly Connect
Pabbly Connect is a solution allowing you to create integrations between your tools depending on your business needs.
It works pretty much like the above tools. When Zapier uses 'Zaps' and Integromat uses 'Scenarios', Pabbly uses 'Workflows' to connect one app with another.
