What is an application?
While the process is a draft version (or wireframe) of your workflow, an application therefore involves real end-user information and documents (whether it's a client, borrower, partner, investor, student, etc).
In short, an application is an instance of your process once executed by someone from your target audience.
An application is created based on your process as soon as a real person executes your process. That is also when your team can start reviewing it collaboratively.
In order to receive applications, you first need to map out one or several processes and save them in your Clustdoc account.

An application can be a submission, a project, a request, a claim, or a client record.
Since you define its content in the process, the application will then serve its own purpose.
For an application to be created, the process must be kicked off by entering someone's contact details (a stakeholder's first name, last name and email)
Multiple applications can be created for a single person
The application can evolve and be updated with new steps without impacting your process (standard checklist)
Eg. You're a school administrator, and you're using Clustdoc to centralize routine student-facing processes. You, therefore, have an admission process and a grant application process saved in your account.
A student called John Doe could submit an application for your Master's program (process #1) and also submit an application for the grant (process #2). This will be counted as 2 different applications.
