💡 A form step can be added to your checklists to capture data. Whether in a process (standard requirement captured before launching your flow) or in a live application (once the flow has started with a specific end-user).
There are 2 ways of creating an online form
- From the Toolbox for reusable form
- In a Process or application for a unique form
If you choose Option 1 you'll be able to import an existing form into any of your applications.
Let's see how:
- Go to Applications and select the one you need
- Click on the Add New steps blue button
- Select Form to fill out
- Name your step and select an existing form from your Toolbox
- ✅ You're done!
Options available when adding a form step
Field Name | Description |
---|---|
Name |
The name of the form will allow people to understand what needs to be done (Eg. Please fill out this client info sheet)
|
Form | This is the actual form module that you want to import from the Toolbox or create on the go |
Instructions | This is a text that will show on top of the form |
Tooltip | This is a text that will show when end-users mouse over the related step (being to complete a form) while on the checklist |
Approval |
This is about which status you want to show once the step is completed (Pending review or approved) knowing that an approved form cannot be edited by end-users anymore |
Required | Whether this step is mandatory or optional |
Visible to end-user |
Is this a form that end-users need to fill out? Otherwise you can hide it so that only team members will be able to fill it out
