Clustdoc form basics

Updated today

Using Clustdoc forms

Online forms allow you to collect the information and data you need from anyone online. Some advanced online forms even allow you to capture payments, signatures, and much more.

Click below to learn how to reproduce the scenarios described in our video:

Option 1: Mapping data from one form to another inside the checklist

Option 2: Marking forms are internal steps that only your team can complete

Option 3: Showing/hiding form steps based on previous captured answers or completed steps

Option 4: Using a form to pre-qualify a contact

Option 5: Using a form content to prepopulate a document to be signed

Option 6: Sending your form's data to your favorite apps

Can I add file upload to Clustdoc forms?

In Clustdoc, document collection and form inputs are handled through different step types within the onboarding checklist. While our forms are designed to capture structured data (text, dropdowns, dates, etc.), file uploads are managed through a dedicated document collection step.

This separation is intentional: it ensures better control over document management, clearer workflows, granular tracking (and therefore compliance) and more flexible configuration when setting up required files. That said, both steps can be combined seamlessly in the checklist, and end-users experience them as part of the same onboarding flow.
